Feel-Good Beats... You Know You Want It

While digging around all corners of the internet today, I stumbled upon DJ Kumash's (of London, Britain) "Feel So Good" remixes. Over the 10 minute track, Kumash transitions from funky tech house, to electro house, and to progressive house. Listen to this one and I dare you not to start bobbing your head and moving those hips.

Dyro's 100 Minute Summer Mix

Dyro has been absolutely killing it in the progressive house scene lately. Discovered by Hardwell in 2011, Dyro signed with Hardwell's "Revealed Recordings"and released his debut EP which immediately took the music scene by storm. We love Dyro's heavy progressive house sound, mixed with his absolutely epic electro drops. Put this one on while you're at the pool, beach, or gym... you'll be fist-pumping (no Jersey Shore) in no time.

Adventure Club's Christian is Back

Many have noted the absence of Christian Srigley from Adventure Club shows during 2013, with Leighton James carrying the load of the duo's live performances. While Christian has been in recovery from an apparent back injury sustained from crowd surfing (as reported by OnlyTheBeat), he's been working on finalizing the group's album, due for release sometime this year. Well today the Canadian duo announced some positive news via their Facebook page:

Great to see our friends at Adventure Club will be back at full strength in time for August, and bringing their fresh, uptempo dub sound to festivals and clubs all over. If you haven't caught the latest installment of their "Superheroes Anonymous" mix series... then please go back to sifting through your mother's light-rock CD collection.

MOAR BASS!!! "Senor Fluff" EP Teaser

Everyone knows that getting teased is about as fun as receiving a handy from Edward Scissorhands. But at DKLB, we love that BASS and that's exactly what Senor Fluff brings in this teaser entitled "TBA" for his upcoming EP set for release this month. We'll let Senor Fluff (AKA Chris Danelon) describe his unique sound (as seen on his Soundcloud):

I made this EP in a heavy manner, hard hitting bass with a soft kick, along with my unique synthesizers that the world has yet to hear. The kick snare pattern I used in this track varied from dubstep to rap and hip hop patterns.

We'll be keeping an eye on Senor Fluff and be bumping that EP as soon as it drops.

SirensCeol Collaboration

I really wanted to get this post out yesterday, but I got buried under site construction (.com coming soon to a world wide web near you). That being said, better late then never. This riding directly on the coat tails of his last track, Unlimited Pancakes, I really have to tip my hat. And Culture Code, you dog you, my my how you've outdone yourself here. This track is unique in the sense that it has a very busy amount of layers, without sounding crowded at any point. Everything bumps and pumps and pitches and rolls together in a frenzy that aroused me in ways I'd rather not speak about. Definitely one for your weekend warrior EDM playlist, without further delay I give you:

Krewella: GET WET LIVE TOUR

So if any of you are as into Krewella as we at DKLB are (don't worry, you're not), you saw the twitter drop about the Get Wet Tour. And again, if you're as Krew Krazy as us (no), .012 seconds later your knees buckled and you collapsed to the floor. Upon awakening, you crawled to the nearest social media capable device to post this. We had a chance to check these guys out earlier this month, and it was an absolutely phenomenal experience. We always kid about how obsessed we are with Krewella hahahahaha..

haha...ha...

but seriously we aren't joking. Go buy tickets.

Our prayers go out to Paul Baumer of Bingo Players...

I have a soft spot in my heart for people diagnosed with Cancer ... It runs in my family. Something has been missing lately from Bingo Players live shows, Paul Baumer's ability to get the crowd in the air! Paul has been diagnosed with cancer... He's been in the hospital over the past few weeks, and the results have just come back... Our prayers go out to Paul's family and friends who will be standing by his side through his recovery! You will be in our hearts and in our prayers, Paul, we're rooting for you!

To show Paul that everyone who has been touched by his, as well as Maarten's music, are by his side to support him, throw #PrayingForPaul on your Twitter... Let's help him get through this like their music helps get us through the dreary week!
